1. Engine must be same as make of truck. Must have full size body.
2. Any single 4-barrel carburetor allowed, no stretched carburetor. No tunnel ram or no sheet metal intakes.
3. Engine must be naturally aspirated. Maximum 470 cubic inch or 58.75 per cylinder. Must be cast iron block (no aluminum blocks or heads). All heads must be cast iron, after market heads are allowed with no porting. May run roller cam. Other internal engine modifications may be made. Rear of engine block can be no more forward than 12 inches from center of front axle tube. May run vacuum pump.
4. Headers can exit through hood or down and back.
5. Truck body and frame must be same as make (I.E.) GM-to-GM, Ford-to-Ford, Dodge-to-Dodge, ETC (134 inch wheelbase maximum. Truck must have all body components: fenders, hood, and doors. Tilt front ends allowed, no fiberglass bodies allowed, no tilt bodies allowed. May have hood scoop open to the rear only. No holes in hood except for header holes. If bed is gutted, but must be covered. No cutting or gutting inside of cab is allowed. However any pieces or components that can be unbolted may be removed. Front windshield must be OEM, side glass and back may be Plexiglass. Must have engine side shields (.060 inch thick minimum.)
6. Maximum 33 x 12.5 inch tires DOT stamped. No cutting or grooving. No bars, no dual wheels, no chains, one half offset allowed. Wrangler XT terra tires allowed.
7. Truck must have OEM production drive train. Dana 70 or smaller front and any rear 106 Rockwell or equal in size, no planetary rear ends. No drop boxes or reversers. OEM transmissions only, cut gears allowed in OEM cases.
8. Truck must have stock frame. Suspension blocks and traction bars will be allowed. Front suspension must be of original configuration, no working hydraulic stops or air bags on front suspension.
9. Hydraulic steering allowed.
10. Weight may be added to the front of the truck. Weight or frame may not extend more than 60” from the centerline of front axle.
11. Front brakes or drive line brakes required.
12. Draw bar height 26” before pull and after. Must be rigid in all direction, with adjustable top stop and bottom adjustment. Drawbar length is a minimum of 36% of the wheel base front center of rear axle (I.E.) 134-inch wheelbase, truck equals 48.24 inches.
13. Front gas tank allowed, but no more than 60” from the center of the front axle.
14. GASOLINE ONLY no alcohol, nitro methane, no nitrous oxide or nitrous propane, no gasohol, no oxidized fuels or any other types of additives. Only fuels permitted Sunoco – Standard, Supreme, Maximum, VP - c12, c14 plus, c16, Renegade – 110, 112, 114 only.
15. No military equipment .
16. Double disc clutches allowed. No centrifugal clutches allowed.
17. After you cross the scales, no weights are to be added or fuel added.
18. All general rules and safety rules apply.
19. Every truck will be pumped for cubic inch and sealed each year before money and or points is awarded. Pump check allowable 4 points over or 1 percent.
20. Every truck will be teched for safety (Class spokesman and or alternate and tech official)
21. Must wear fire jacket & helmet.
