1. May be hauled to pull.
2. This vehicle is limited to a single 2.6 inlet turbocharger. The compressor wheel must protrude into the compressor inlet bore 1/8 inch. The 1/8 inch wheel protrusion must be cut flat and square on bore and wheel. NO TAPERED CUTS. The inducer bore on the compressor housing is limited to 2.6 inches and the bore must be uniform in size throughout the diameter. No oval or egg-shaped bores will be allowed. The inducer bore is non-removable and must be maintained for 3/4 of an inch from the front face of the compressor wheel. The inlet will be measured with a 2.65 plug or internal calipers. The plug must not be able to enter the inducer bore. A map width enhancement (MWE) groove is allowed. No MWE groove width greater than (.200) of an inch will be allowed. The entire MWE groove must be placed behind the cut or step on the wheel for the protrusion into the inducer bore. Turbos with non-stepped wheels, true 2.6 or smaller, must still have the 1/8 protrusion into the inducer bore, and the 2.6 bore must be maintained for 3/4 inch in front of wheel and may have a MWE groove no larger than (.200) of an inch wide behind the face of the wheel. All provision allowing air to the wheel other than via the bore inlet and the MWE groove are prohibited. The 6.4 power stroke engine may utilize the factory twin turbo configuration. The driver will be responsible for making compressor wheel and bore accessible for tech officials to measure bore and inspect compressor wheel.
3. All
computer chips and boxes are permitted.
4. No
Nitrous or Propane – All Bottles Must Be Removed.
5. Water
Injection allowed, limited to a two nozzle system. Water/Meth or Boost Juice is
allowed. No straight Methanol.
6. There
will be under hood inspections. All trucks will have the turbo checked before
the pull by a tech official.
7. Rear
suspension may be blocked. Blocks must be easily removed. No welded rear
suspension. OEM two wheel drives may run solid welded suspension.
8. Air
bags permitted, single line must be capped, no in cab controls.
9. Tractions
bars must have a safety loop or strap securely attached to frame & bars near
where bars attach to frame of truck.
10. Front
hanging weights are allowed, NOT to exceed 60 inches forward of the center of
the front axle. No weights in cab of truck. Total maximum weight of 8000 lbs
with the driver.
11. The
hitch must be a receiver style hitch, reinforcements are permitted.
Reinforcements must not extend forward of the centerline of the rear axle. The
hooking point must be the rear most point of vehicle and must be rearward of the
stock location of the tailgate. The hitch must be horizontal to the ground and
stationary in all directions. Bumpers may be notched or removed. The hooking
point must have a minimum 3.75” inside diameter opening for the sled hook. The hooking point must be a minumum of 44 inches from the center of the rear axle to the end of the hole where the hook touches metal to be pulled from, this is the hooking point.
12. No
chains, studs, spikes, etc.
13. DOT
street legal tires. No cut tires.
14. Engine
must have come stock from factory in a 1-ton pickup truck or less application.
Engine does not have to be the same manufacturer as truck. (i.e. Cummins engine
may be transplanted in a Ford or Chevy truck).
15. Only
one injection pump or twin CP3s.
16. Drive
train must be OEM from 1 ton or less pickup. (i.e. no drop boxes or reversers). OEM two wheel drive vehicles can run up to a 2 ton truck rear end.
17. Trucks running in excess of 4000 rpms must run a scatter
proof blanket on the bell housing.
18. Exhaust
must be directed up or down. Two, three eights inch diameter are recommended
through the exhaust pipe in a cross pattern. One warning will be given on turn
up or downs.
19. Kill
switch is mandatory both at rear of truck and in cab. Trucks with a mechanical pump must have air shutoff.
20. All
regular pulling members are required to have drive shaft loops and u-joint
covers. Must have axle covers.
21.
Diesel fuel only.
22. Fuel tank must be in OEM location or in bed of truck.
8500# Hot Farm Tractors

1. Tractor must retain stock
appearance and sheet metal in stock location. Allow for updates.
2. Deflection shield must be
on both sides of the motor and cover the entire motor. Either aluminum or steel
no less than 0.060 thick. Fire shield between torque and driver.
3. Clutches must be covered
with 6 buckle SFI safety blanket.
4. Fenders or tire shields
are required.
5. Must have cross in outlet
on turbo two 3/8 bolts or rods, no more than 1 inch apart.
6. Front weights must not
extend no more than 13 feet from the center of rear axle, 114 inch maximum
wheelbase.
7. Tractors must have
individual working rear brakes.
8. Drawbar must be stationary
and no higher than 20 inches and 18 inches from center of rear axle.
9. Motors must not exceed 470
cubic inches. 1% TOLERANCE AND MUST BE DIESEL ONLY.
10. Engine must match
tractor.
11. Aluminum heads are not
allowed. Only 2 valves per cylinder.
12. No compressed air, no
nitrous oxide or fuel conversions, no propane, and no nitromethane allowed.
13. Maximum tire size is
20.8x38 radial or bias ply tire, single or double cut tire allowed. Tire can be
uncut.
14. Fuel pump, any pump,
maximum P pump.
15. Water injection is
allowed, no power additives (water only with the exception of lubricant).
16. OEM intakes and exhaust
manifolds only, no homemade manifolds, no intakes or housings.
17. All tractors must have
wheelie bars, air shut off and spring loaded throttle stop.
18. Anyone caught cheating
will be subject to KOTTPA rules.
19. Intake housing to be no
larger than 3 inches at the face of the wheel. Single compressor wheel must
protrude into 3 inch bore. Stock map with enhancement is allowed.
20. No component tractors
allowed.
21. No inter coolers or after
coolers allowed.
22. KOTTPA approved roll cage
or roll bar.
23. At a minimum, a lap strap
seat belt is required. 5 point harness with quick release clasp is strongly
recommended..
24. SFI approved clutch,
flywheel and pressure plate.
25. Head restraint must be a
minimum 3/8 inch cable with 2 clamps on each end. Strap needs to be across front
part of head.
26. The protest for engine measurements will be $1100, the tech official
performing the protest will receive $100 and $1000 will go to the person in the
right.
